Eastern Michigan University has launched a mobile app through Ellucian GO that makes it easier to access important information.

The app, which can be downloaded for free from a mobile device’s app store, provides up-to-date news and information on current events in the EMU community. It also allows students to view his or her schedule, grades and current location on a campus map in an instant.

Registering for classes will be added as a feature in the future, according to a release from Geoff Larcom, EMU director of media relations.

“I am incredibly excited we are rolling out this helpful app for students,” Student Body President Desmond Miller said. “EMU Mobile will give EMU students quick and very important information about themselves, along with information about the Eastern Michigan community as a whole.”
