01049 -- EMU Echo Editor Endowed Scholarship:  Provides financial support for the current EMU Echo Editor.

02414 -- Scott Stephenson Eastern Echo Scholarship:  This expendable scholarship is for the benefit of student(s) in the School of Communication, Media & Theater Arts in the College of Arts & Sciences.  It will be awarded to a full or part-time junior or senior EMU student majoring in journalism and working for the Eastern Echo.  The student should be working to self-finance their education and not be eligible for need-based grants.

00825 -- Student Media Development:  Provides support for the Student Media program.

Meals on Wheels—

Ypsilanti’s Meals on Wheels organization is hosting the 17th Annual Holiday Tour and Downtown Stroll on Saturday, Dec. 14 and 15. Attendees can enjoy “A Taste of Ypsi” from local restaurants. The stroll ends with desserts, beverages and entertainment at Materials Unlimited.

Tickets for the event are available at the YMOW office, Haab’s, MIX and Nelson Amos Studios. Saturday tickets are $40 and the event is from 6-10 p.m. Sunday tickets are $15 running from 12:30-4 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit the Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels.

Retirement party for Ken Stevens—

A retirement party will be held for CMTA Professor Ken Stevens on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 4 p.m. in the Quirk Building.

Stevens has been with Eastern Michigan University for 41 years. The event will run from 4-4:30 p.m. in the Sponberg Theatre with refreshments following. RSVP to Pam Cardell at pam.cardell@emich.edu or call 734-487-1220.

2013 Winter Commencement at EMU—

The 2013 Winter Commencement event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. in the Convocation Center. For information and a full schedule, visit 2013 December Commencement homepage at emich.edu/commencement.
