Jan. 28

A female student reported compromising pictures of her posted on Instagram by a male friend at 11:07 a.m. The male friend is not a student, and this investigation is ongoing.

Jan. 29

A disagreement between two students over a game of pool in the Student Center turned physical at 6:35 p.m. The students are friends and are not interested in pressing charges. The issue has been turned over to the university, and the students may face consequences under the Student Code of Conduct.

Jan. 30

A Downing Hall staff member told police about a student who had been sexually assaulted. The student had told the staff member about the assault but did not want police involved. It is unclear whether the alleged assaulter is a student, and this investigation is ongoing.

Police responded to the smell of marijuana in Wise Hall at 11:46 p.m. Officers searched the room where the smell originated and found narcotic paraphernalia but did not find any marijuana. The student resident of the room was not charged criminally, but may face consequences under the
Student Code of Conduct.

Jan. 31

Officers encountered a student with a nosebleed at 5:07 a.m. in the lobby of Wise Hall. Police discovered the student was a minor and intoxicated. The student was cited as a minor in possession of alcohol, sent to the hospital and may face consequences under the Student Code of Conduct.
