Police Blotter, Oct. 21

Friday, Oct. 17

It was reported that a male suspect was hiding inside of his car acting suspiciously at the Marriott Hotel parking lot on Huron Street at 1:14 a.m. The reporting officers smelled marijuana after making contact with the suspect. After questioning, the suspect produced a small amount of what was believed to be marijuana to the officers and was issued a citation for possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

Saturday, Oct. 18

A male student’s bike was reported stolen outside of Wise Hall at 4:02 p.m. The crime was believed to have occurred between Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 18 at 10:30 a.m. There are no suspects at this time and the crime is currently under investigation.

Two iPhones were reported stolen from the Bruce T Halle Library at 5:38 p.m. Multiple suspects have been identified and upon making contact, one was found having what is believed to be marijuana in his backpack. He was cited for possession of narcotic paraphernalia. All suspects have been barred from campus and the matter has been sent to the county prosecutor for further investigation.

During a traffic stop near Washington Street and Harriet Street at 10:08 p.m. a male suspect was found to have what was believed to be marijuana in his possession. He was cited for possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

Sunday, Oct. 19

A male suspect was escorted off campus after security authorities reported a person acting suspiciously in Sellers Hall lounge at 7:31 a.m.
