Eastern Michigan defensive lineman and team captain Pat O’Connor will miss the entire 2015 season as announced on “Shep in the Morning” this morning.
“Unfortunately Pat’s leadership is going to be challenged as he’ll be leading from the sidelines this fall and that he’s got an injury that he’ll have to take the season to recover from,” Creighton told Matt Sheppard.
O’Connor was named to the Bronko Nagurski Defensive Player of the Year watch list in July and last year he led the Mid-American Conference with 7.5 sacks.
O’Connor was also named First Team All-MAC honors last year.
More information will be released as it is known.
