Football defeated the Bowling Green Falcons 28-25 on Saturday night to kick off Mid-American Conference play. The Eagles have now won three in a row.
Volleyball came back home to play in a pair of MAC games. The Eagles would defeat Western Michigan but fall to Northern Illinois over the weekend.
Rowing kicked off their season at the Head of the Oklahoma. The Eagles would finish 10 overall as a team and place at 13 and 23 in the smaller groups.
The women’s soccer team lost both home MAC games over the weekend. They fell to Ball State 3-1, and lost to Miami (Ohio) in a 3-2, double-overtime thriller.
The Eagles tennis team competed at the Wildcat Invitational over the course of the weekend. They had four players make it to the final day and all four were swept.
Women’s cross country placed third-overall at the Notre Dame Invite. They beat out a couple of ranked teams including last year’s national champions, New Mexico.
Men’s cross country finished in twelfth place at the Notre Dame Invitational. They placed two runners in the top-26 as they compiled 285 points.
