02414 -- Scott Stephenson Eastern Echo Scholarship:  This expendable scholarship is for the benefit of student(s) in the School of Communication, Media & Theater Arts in the College of Arts & Sciences.  It will be awarded to a full or part-time junior or senior EMU student majoring in journalism and working for the Eastern Echo.  The student should be working to self-finance their education and not be eligible for need-based grants.

00825 -- Student Media Development:  Provides support for the Student Media program.

Police Blotter Nov. 25 - Dec. 1

Sunday, November 25 

An individual was arrested on a Failure to Appear (FTA) warrant at East Forest Avenue and North River Street at 2:19 a.m. The individual also had a suspended license and no vehicle insurance. 

An individual was found in possession of a stolen vehicle and narcotic equipment at Huron River Drive and Leforge Road at 1:34 p.m. 

Two students were reported for disturbing the peace with a loud verbal argument in Walton Residence Hall at 6:44 p.m. 

Monday, November 26 

A backpack with a computer was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Cornell Courts F between Nov. 23, 7 p.m. - Nov. 23, 10 p.m. The crime was reported on Nov. 26, 8:47 p.m. 

Tuesday, November 27

A driver was reported for driving without vehicle insurance at Green Road and Leforge Road at 12:39 a.m. 

Wednesday, November 28 

A driver was arrested for driving with their license suspended and for pre-existing warrants at West Forest Avenue and Lowell Street.  The driver was also reported for obstructing police during the arrest. 

A student entered a room without permission in Wise Hall and made a comment about wanting to fight one of the residents at 2:29 a.m. 

A sexual assault that allegedly occurred in Best Residence Hall between Nov. 25, 11 p.m. - 11:59 p.m. was reported on Nov. 28, 4:53 p.m. 

A sexual assault that allegedly occurred in the Student Center on Oct. 30, 6 p.m. was reported on Nov. 28, 4:53 p.m. 

Thursday, November 29 

A student reported being pushed aggressively by another student in Walton Residence Hall at 4 p.m.

Friday, November 30

A driver was given a warning for driving with a suspended license and a traffic violation at Washtenaw Avenue and Cornell Court at 1:16 p.m. 

Saturday, December 1

Two students were reported for disturbing the peace by arguing at Walton Residence Hall at 1:11 a.m. 

A driver was arrested on their second offence for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol (OUI) at Maple Street and North River Street at 1:41 a.m. 

Roommates in Pittman Hall were reported for disturbing the peace with a loud argument at 12:49 p.m.
