The Department of Student Media is now accepting applications for Editor-in-Chief of Cellar Roots, the award winning literary and arts journal, for the 2012-13 academic year. The role of Editor-in-Chief is to provide the leadership necessary to publish a print edition of Cellar Roots during 2012-13.

Applicants must be currently enrolled at Eastern Michigan University as a graduate or undergraduate student, must remain enrolled throughout their tenure as EIC and must be registered for at least four credit hours for graduate students or six credit hours for undergraduates. Applicants must also be in good academic standing with the university. 

EIC duties include: Recruit, hire, train and evaluate a team of editors, designers and other staff as needed; develop a budget and monitor spending; develop print bid specifications and supervise jurors for the selection process.
