The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death after a man was found dead in an industrial area Thursday in Ypsilanti Township around 11:30 p.m.
Derrick Jackson,Community Engagement Director for the sheriff’s office, said detectives are waiting on the autopsy results to come back.
“We received a call from a passerby who said they found an individual in the snow,” Jackson said. “ We did a welfare check and found out the individual was dead.”
