The EMU Board of Regents voted on Feb. 13 to phase out five programs in the Department of World Languages
The theme of “Insecurity” in Ypsilanti’s community was brought to life in the free art exhibit at The Riverside Arts Center, which from Jan. 10 to Jan. 31. The idea for the gallery was thought up the Ypsi Gathering Space. The exhibit aimed to demonstrate the vulnerable side and thoughts of people in the community.
A car accident occured on the intersection of Washtenaw Ave. and Oakwood St. around 11a.m the morning of Monday, February 3, 2020. The car was flipped upside down, however, the driver was reported as being in stable condition. The Ann Arbor Transit Authority/The Ride bus route four was temporarily skipping the stop before Washtenaw Ave. and Oakwood St. Students going to Eastern Michigan University could still get off by the Oakwood St. and Summit St. stops.
The Rec/IM is slated to be open following renovations in Fall 2020. Until then, students and faculty are relegated to smaller workout rooms in designated areas of the Rec/IM and Warner.
