Roundup: Women's basketball goes to 4-0
The women’s basketball team won two games over the weekend as part of its three-game road trip that ends Tuesday against Temple (tipoff is 2 p.m.).
Tavelyn James led the Eagles in scoring both games. She had 19 points Sunday in a 83-68 win over Niagra and 32, including 8-of-12 on 3-pointers, in a 77-55 win over Siena on Friday.

Men’s team splits
EMU split its first two games of the Hispanic College Fund Classic in Springfield, Mo.
It lost 63-56 Friday to The Citadel and won 76-51 Saturday against Maryland Eastern Shore. It was to finish the tournament Sunday night against Missouri State, but results weren’t in time for print.
It was 2-1 before the game.
