The Echo should be teaching it’s reporters to fact check and it’s readers should be holding this rag to a standard. EMU PD must police campus and the areas surrounding campus to help keep EMU a safe place to study, work and visit. This newspaper does a disservice to our law enforcement officers when it posts garbage without doing any fact checking. In the future I recommend sending your articles to the people you are reporting on to find any mistakes.
