D-Fenders release Jackson

The Los Angeles D-Fenders released former Eastern Michigan basketball player James Jackson and one other player on Wednesday to make room on the 10-man roster for two additional players.

This comes days after we ran a story about him — maybe it’s bad karma. It was his birthday, too.

The D-Fenders are in the NBDL and affiliated with the Lakers.
