The Eastern Michigan University Police Department has arrested the suspect involved in the April 17 felonious domestic assault on an EMU student at Westview Apartments, located off Huron River Drive.

The suspect, who was identified as the victim’s husband, turned himself into EMU PD and is being held at the Washtenaw County Jail awaiting arraignment.

The victim reported to police that she was forced to leave her apartment at gunpoint by the suspect, who then drove her around only to later drop her off at her apartment on campus.

According to police, the victim sustained no injuries.
