Abraham Lincoln at Halle Library

This month in Halle Library is a celebration of the life and work of the 16th president, Abraham Lincoln. In the main corridor of the library 5 walls stand with a separate theme for each. The first is about Lincoln and his life, and the other four focusing on the division and reunification of our country, specifically focusing on our nation’s struggle with slavery and civil rights. Books on Lincoln’s life are also present, promoting further study of the topic. In the back of the library one can find war atlases and maps of the civil war and its battles. The exhibition will run until the end of this month.
