Every year, members of the Ypsilanti community — from residents and their children to Eastern Michigan University students — gather together to spruce up different parts of the city. Volunteers do a variety of activities including raking leaves, planting gardens, picking up trash, cleaning ponds and staining picnic tables all to show how proud they are of the area they live in and care about. Visit ypsipride.org to learn more or to get involved next year.
