Early morning theft in Phelps

A burglary occurred in Phelps Hall on Tuesday between 425-7 a.m. resulting in the theft of two laptops two iPods and a cell phone. One of the residents of the room awoke to see a male individual in his room wearing a white T-shirt but believed it was his roommate. Later the resident found several items stolen.

Burglary in Phelps Hall; DPS is investigating case

A burglary occurred in Phelps Hall last Thursday afternoon between 130 and 2 p.m. resulting in a stolen laptop. Police Chief Greg ODell said the Department of Public Safety has had no new developments in the case. The case will remain an open investigation due to no suspects.

Regents to increase financial aid, veterans' grants

The Regents voted to increase financial aid to more than 30 million for students in 2010-2011 on Tuesday. This is an increase of 4.8 million more than Eastern Michigan Universitys current financial aid budget.
