Originally, the suit was set to go to court next month. But after the Hannas informed council they had hired private security to patrol the parking lot outside their store, council passed a resolution postponing the suit for 60 days.

Although some choose to remain on their parents’ insurance, the Snow Health Center at Eastern Michigan University offers its own health insurance policy.

He owns an iSold It franchise in Fullerton, Calif., that sells on eBay auction Web site items brought in by individuals and businesses.

Recent economic turmoil seems to have motivated a lot of people to clean out the garage or company store room.

Tensions rise in Baghdad over security pact

BAGHDAD — Iraq’s cabinet on Sunday approved a security pact that sets a timetable for the nearly complete withdrawal of American forces within three years, but the agreement faces an uncertain outlook in Iraq’s parliament.

The largest Sunni party in Iraq, the Iraqi Islamic Party, wants the agreement to go to a nationwide referendum. Its affiliated parties complain their efforts to amend the plan to require the release of detainees and to provide compensation for war victims were ignored by lawmakers who shaped the pact.
