The teddy bear horror film "Imaginary" directed by Jeff Wadlow premiered in theaters on Friday, March 8. The three main characters in this film, Jessica (DeWanda Wise), Taylor (Taegen Burns), and Alice (Pyper Braun), were a combination of humorous and thrilling. There aren't many scary movies with demonic teddy bears, thus this one stood out from the usual horror genre. The evil teddy bear did bring similar elements from the "Chucky" movie.

Winning in its last five of seven trips to McGuirk Arena in Mount Pleasant, Mich., the Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team was in search of adding to that record against in-state and Mid-American Conference rival Central Michigan University. After a battle that would see an extra five minutes with overtime, the Chippewas would outlast the Eagles, 65-62.

Madi Diaz, the indie singer-songwriter and musician, is currently on tour for her most recent record “Weird Faith.” She stopped at The Ark in Ann Arbor, Mich., to perform on March 5. Diaz welcomed folk singer-songwriter and musician Jack Van Cleaf to open the show. In a partnership with the Human Rights Campaign and Propellor, Diaz encouraged attendees to take action for a chance to win an autographed setlist.

Rhodes Arena in Akron, Ohio, as the Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team stunned Akron University in the final seconds as junior forward Jalin Billingsley (Cleveland, Ohio) threw down a putback dunk with one second left to give the Eagles a 61-60 win over the Zips.
