The Eastern Michigan (9-2) men’s basketball team travelled to the Breslin Center to face the No. 15 Michigan State Spartans (9-3) on Saturday, Dec. 21. The Eagles now have a 9-2 record, tied with Kent State at the top of the MAC. The Spartans dominated the game from the tip-off, outscoring the Eagles 41-20 in the first half.
The Eastern Michigan Eagles (9-1) men’s basketball team defeated the Northeastern Huskies (5-6) on Tuesday, December 17 at the Convocation Center in Ypsilanti. The Eagles are now a MAC-best 9-1 and are an undefeated 5-0 at home. Noah Morgan led the team with 19 points.

Noah Morgan added 21 points as well. Javon Freeman had a game-high 28 points and five rebounds for Valparaiso in the loss.

The Eagles defeated Southeast Missouri State, 69-64, on Tuesday, Nov. 19 in Ypsilanti. EMU was led by freshman guard Aaliyah Stanley’s 24 points, four rebounds and two steals.

The Eastern Michigan men’s basketball team (1-0) will play its second game of the year versus the Goshen Maple Leafs (3-3) at the Convocation Center Nov. 12. Eastern Michigan defeated Goshen 97-74 last season.

The Eagles bounced back from an 85-50 loss against Michigan State earlier in the week, defeating Olivet 95-38. EMU had five players score 10+ points in the blowout win.
