On June 6, former Eastern Michigan University golfer Casey Olsen traveled to Springfield Ohio to compete in the US Open Sectionals. Olsen scored a 72 in each round of the two-day tournament. Unfortunately, he was unable to advance to the Open with those scores.

After a long spring season of success, the Eastern Michigan University women’s golf team continued its success into post-season play. The team traveled to Nashport, Ohio to compete in the 2013 Mid-American Conference Championship.
The Eastern Michigan University men’s golf team traveled to Indiana this weekend to compete in the Boilermaker Invitational hosted by Purdue University. The team came in 13th place out of the 18 teams competing. The Eagles scored a 914 in the two-day event on the Birck Boilermaster Golf Complex’s Kampen Course.
For Eastern Michigan University senior and women’s golf team captain Alyssa Kwon, being part of the golf team has been exciting because of her teammates.
