We've officially passed the first day of autumn, and it’s time to start getting into the season. One of my favorite things to do every year in fall is watch Over the Garden Wall, a mini-series that was aired on Cartoon Network in 2014. This is a show I constantly fall back into over and over again and I consider it one of the best shows of all time. It’s filled with beautiful fall scenery, a gorgeous art style, and just the right amount of morbidity to make you question if it really is for kids. The latter part of this article will contain very mild spoilers, so read at your own risk.

After doing my weekly look at YouTube’s Trending page, I came across a new video under the “Artist on the Rise,” section for “You Sad” by Tkay Maidza. While I had seen the name before, way back when she was featured on Troye Sivan’s Blue Neighborhood EP, I’d never really listened to the rapper’s music in-depth.

Bowling alleys across the state were given the go-ahead to open back up Wednesday, Sept. 9, after a long stretch of being closed due to COVID-19. During the prolonged shutdown, many owners scratched their heads while wondering how to stay afloat due to the loss of income. Most bowling alleys are family owned businesses, so the effects were devastating to the local residents that ran these establishments.
