02414 -- Scott Stephenson Eastern Echo Scholarship:  This expendable scholarship is for the benefit of student(s) in the School of Communication, Media & Theater Arts in the College of Arts & Sciences.  It will be awarded to a full or part-time junior or senior EMU student majoring in journalism and working for the Eastern Echo.  The student should be working to self-finance their education and not be eligible for need-based grants.

COVID-19 vaccine distribution concerns arise as new phase begins

Since the announcement made by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services about the new phase of COVID-19 vaccines, which was enacted on Jan. 11, distributions have been difficult due to a lack of vaccines and willingness to get vaccinated.

Washtenaw County Prosecutor will no longer charge cases related to marijuana, shrooms, and various psychedelics

Washtenaw County Prosecutor Eli Savit announced on Jan. 12 that his team will no longer be charging cases related to marijuana or entheogenic plants (naturally occurring psychedelics). They will also support expunging past marijuana and entheogenic plant case charges for eligible individuals.

This song is a release of a fan-favorite titled “Rainbow.” It is just as wonderful as the rest of her music and I am elated to be able to finally download it onto playlists. It is such a gorgeous song that makes me even more excited for the upcoming release in March.
