"Dear Donald Trump" gives students chance to speak about U.S. president

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated hosted an open forum for students on the campus of Eastern Michigan called “Dear Donald Trump.” The event was presented on Tuesday, Oct 3., and provided a safe zone for students to have a full open discussion about the current President of the U.S. and the many recent events that he has had some type of impact on.


Canton Township Police shut down EMU icebreaker

The Canton Township Police Department shut down the eighth annual Eastern Michigan University Ice Breaker, “Issa Ice Breaker,” Friday, Sept. 8, at 11:30 p.m. at the Golden Gate Banquet Hall in Canton, Michigan with no explanation. 


Preview: football v. the Bowling Green Falcons

This Saturday, the Eagles will travel down to Ohio to face the Bowling Green Falcons for the opening of the MAC Slate. Bowling Green holds a season record of 1-3 after harsh loss to the University of Memphis (77-3) on Sept. 24.


EMU streetball classic: Volume 2

For the start of welcome week at Eastern Michigan, two student organizations, Detroit Does Well and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, hosted their 2nd annual Streetball Classic event on the outside court of EMU campus. The EMU Streetball Classic Volume 2 game consist of both team DDW and team D-Up competing against one another in a game of basketball for this year’s Streetball Classic trophy.

After heading into their fourth tournament of season, the Eastern Michigan’s women’s volleyball team traveled to Dayton, Ohio to participate in the Flyer Invitational tournament from the weekend of Sept.
