Student Government undone

Student Government’s credibility and efficacy has been called into question. It has been unable to properly run an election, and has provided skeptics with fodder for its dismissal. But rather than be taken down by critics it appears Student Government will undo itself.

	Jelani McGadney, one of the candiates for student body president, has expressed his willingness to work with EMU and the Ann Arbor Transportation Authortiy to help alleviate campus parking woes.

The Eastern Echo editorial board has decided to endorse Jelani McGadney for the position of Student Body President and Jeff Chicoine as Student Body Vice President in the upcoming election at Eastern Michigan University. Of the pool of candidates, we feel McGadney provided the best plans to address students’ concerns.
