01049 -- EMU Echo Editor Endowed Scholarship:  Provides financial support for the current EMU Echo Editor.

02414 -- Scott Stephenson Eastern Echo Scholarship:  This expendable scholarship is for the benefit of student(s) in the School of Communication, Media & Theater Arts in the College of Arts & Sciences.  It will be awarded to a full or part-time junior or senior EMU student majoring in journalism and working for the Eastern Echo.  The student should be working to self-finance their education and not be eligible for need-based grants.

00825 -- Student Media Development:  Provides support for the Student Media program.

Culture Night Gathers Students Across Campus to Experience New Cultures

Friday night, International Students Association (ISA) brought many students at Eastern Michigan University together to celebrate the multitude of unique cultures on our campus. The organization created an experience for students to meet new friends from a range of different backgrounds and watch performances from a range of different cultures.

Ypsilanti Native Polo Frost Performs Alongside Neisha Neshae at EMU Convocation Center and Opens Up to The Eastern Echo

Ypsilanti is home to many hidden talents, especially in regards to music as artists similar to Polo Frost are steadily breaking ground in the music industry. Alongside Neisha Neshae, Fowl and King Jazzy, Frost took to the Convocation Center stage Friday, Jan. 18 to open for hip-hop sensation Juice WRLD.

Easily recognized as the most anticipated hip-hop show of the academic year, Juice WRLD provided Eastern Eagles with an electric performance at the Convocation Center Jan. 18, which made it no surprise that Queen of R&B Trap from Ypsilanti, MI joined the stage to perform fan-favorite tracks as well as new music.
