Eastern Michigan University womens' basketball concede third consecutive defeat in 93-68 loss to Buffalo

Eastern Michigan University’s womens’ basketball team traveled to Buffalo, New York for a matchup against the University at Buffalo. The matchup between EMU and Buffalo is the 29th meeting between the two teams since 1999. Prior to Wednesday’s game, both teams tied for 14 wins and 14 loses since 1999, with Buffalo taking the win over the Eagles the last seven games. Buffalo broke the tie after outscoring the Eagles 93-68 on Wednesday night.

Eastern Michigan Eagles soar above Miami RedHawks, 85-75

Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team (8-11, 3-5 Mid-American Conference) hosted Miami University (9-10, 3-5 Mid-American Conference) inside the George Gervin GameAbove Center on Saturday, Jan. 29. The first meeting of the season between the Eagles and RedHawks resulted in a 85-75 victory for the Eagles, snapping EMU's four-game losing streak.

EMU Men's Basketball fall to Bowling Green in offensive battle 85-71

The Eastern Michigan University mens' basketball team (7-11, 2-5 MAC), took on Bowling Green State University (11-9, 4-5 MAC), which resulted in an 85-71 loss for the Eagles. Freshman Colin Golson Jr. led the team in scoring, putting up 16 points. Junior Bryce McBride added on 15 points. The Eagles look to bounce back at home on Saturday, Jan. 29, against Miami University.

EMU Women’s Basketball falls to Western Michigan in tight matchup

The Eastern Michigan women's basketball team (4-8, 1-4 MAC) fell short to Western Michigan (9-4, 3-1 MAC), 62-57, last Wednesday inside the George Gervin GameAbove Center. The Eagles were led by redshirt junior Juanita Agosto, who earned her second career double-double by scoring 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds for EMU.

EMU Gymnastics tops rival Central Michigan University

The Eastern Michigan University gymnastics team took on Mid-American Conference rival Central Michigan which resulted in a 193.525 - 192.925 win for EMU. The Eagles were led by senior Kara Roberts, who finished first place on vault, and junior Hadyn Crossen, who finished second in the all-around competition.

EMU Track & Field finish 1st in Akron Quad Meet

Eastern Michigan track & field claimed victories over Akron and Buffalo at the Akron Quad Meet. Taige Bryant completed a new personal best of 22.85m in the weight throw, ranking second in the nation and first in the MAC.
