It’s that time of the year. It is MAC Championship time for the Eastern Michigan University men’s and women’s track & field athletes.
The Eastern Michigan men and women’s track and field teams competed this past weekend at the Silverston Invite. The invite was held at the University of Michigan.
After a good showing in the Findlay Open on Feb. 3 in Findlay, Ohio and the Meyo Invite in South Bend, Indiana, the Eastern Michigan University men’s track and field team heads to Allendale Michigan to compete in the Grand Valley State University’s Big Meet. The Big Meet is on Feb. 10 and 11.
After two days, the Meyo Invitational that featured more than 1,600 competitors finished.
It has been three weeks since Eastern Michigan’s men’s track and field team’s first meet at the Grand Valley Holiday Open in Allendale, Mich., on Dec. 16.
The Eastern Michigan University men’s basketball team will play the University of Arkansas-Little Rock at 7 p.m. Friday at the Convocation Center.
Eastern Michigan University women’s swimming and diving team fell to defending Mid-American Conference champs Ohio University on Saturday, 151-149, in the season opener for the Eagles at the Jones Natatorium.
