Michael Swain began swimming when he was around eight years old. He decided to start because one of his friends had won a trophy from swimming, and Michael wanted to do the same. So he began swimming. Fast forward to 2012, and he now finds himself on the swim team at Eastern Michigan University.

Attending athletic events at Eastern Michigan University is a fun way to meet people, as well as, cheer on the teams. There is a program called Eagle Nation Rewards, and the goal of this free program is to promote athletic events by offering incentives for members if they attend athletic events.

The Eastern Michigan volleyball team has a busy schedule coming up with five home matches. This situation will be good for the Eagles, as it is later in the season and they want to keep improving and dominate at the end.
“We’re excited,” sophomore outside hitter Erin Short said. “It’s another chance to beat out the East teams. Everyone’s talking about how we’re still in this, and we still have a chance to win.”
