A man suspected of shooting three people near Eastern Michigan University was arrested by Ypsilanti Police on Wednesday.

Twenty four-year-old Quenton Dodson was arrested without incident in the 12000 Block of Evergreen, Detroit. He will be held at the Washtenaw County Jail until his arraignment.

Dodson was a suspect in the shooting police say took place following an argument over the price of Oxycotin pills at approximately 7:15 p.m. on March 23, in the 300 block of Jarvis.

According to a press release from the Ypsilanti Police Department, the three victims are still recovering from their injuries.

The arrest resulted from the “concerted effort” between Ypsilanti Police, the United States Marshals Service, Michigan State Police Fugitive Team, and Detroit Police Department’s Headquarters Surveillance.
