02414 -- Scott Stephenson Eastern Echo Scholarship:  This expendable scholarship is for the benefit of student(s) in the School of Communication, Media & Theater Arts in the College of Arts & Sciences.  It will be awarded to a full or part-time junior or senior EMU student majoring in journalism and working for the Eastern Echo.  The student should be working to self-finance their education and not be eligible for need-based grants.

00825 -- Student Media Development:  Provides support for the Student Media program.

Eastern Michigan University’s Summit Street A Cappella Group selected for 2021 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella

The Summit Street A Cappella group from Eastern Michigan University has been selected to compete in the Varsity Vocals International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) in 2021. This is the second time that EMU has been represented at the ICCA since the selection of their mixed-vocal Evergreen A Cappella group in 2018.

Holy Bones Festival to raise funds for the Ypsilanti Performance Space through the Fundraise the Dead Auction

The Holy Bones Festival community has undertook the "Fundraise the Dead Project" to benefit the Ypsilanti Performance Space, Inc. (The YPSI). The Fundraise the Dead Collection features auction items, donated artwork from local artists, and a curated selection of public domain works, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to The YPSI.

Marilyn Horace-Moore Scholarship has been established in memory of the late Eastern Michigan University criminology professor

An endowed scholarship has been established in memory of Marilyn Horace-Moore, a prominent member of the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminology, at Eastern Michigan University. Horace-Moore taught at EMU from 1994 until her untimely passing in April 2020.

Eastern Michigan esports partner pledges $1 million towards gaming industry

Congresswoman Dingell announces over $490,000 grant to improve Ypsilanti library and community

Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D-MI 12) announced that the Ypsilanti District Library and the University Corporation for Advanced Internet Development received combined federal grants of over $490,000, on Monday, July 27. The grants were provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), a federal agency headquartered in Washington D.C.
