Kaiser Elementary students entertain board of education before meeting

The Willow Run Board of Education was entertained at Kaiser Elementary School Thursday by student performances and a short video during an excellence in education showcase. After the festivities, the board moved on to conduct their meeting.

Principal Laura Lisisck presented the results of Kaiser Elementary’s energy conservation project. Simply by turning off lights, recycling plastic bottles and fixing leaky windows, the school saved $7,500. According to Lisisck, educating students was the key to their success.
