Eastern Michigan football team defeats Buffalo, 21-17
The Eastern Michigan University football team picked up its second win of the season, taking down Buffalo, 21-17, Saturday in Buffalo.
Senior running back Dwayne Priest scored all three touchdowns for the Eagles (2-9, 2-5 Mid-American Conference), rushing for 192 yards on 35 attempts.
Quarterback Alex Gillett completed six-of-nine passes for 92 yards and two interceptions. Three of his passes were caught by tight end Ben Thayer for a total of 73 yards.
The Bulls (2-9, 1-6 MAC) passed for a total of 222 yards and their only two touchdowns.
The Eagles had 261 yards on the ground.
