Update:No active TB cases found

UPDATE (4:22 p.m.): The Washtenaw County Health Department announced in an informational release there are no active TB cases among the infected student’s work contacts, or among any EMU staff or students who came into close contact with the student.

Ellen Gold,the executive director of University Health Services,said the county health department does not anticipate any other active cases resulting from this situation.Gold said the affected student is receiving appropriate medical care at this time.
