A few days ago, Bob Dylan released a single titled False Prophets. In the last month and a half he’d also released two other singles - A Murder Most Foul and I Contain Multitudes. The release of those two led to a lot of speculation on whether an album was forthcoming. The release of False Prophets confirmed suspicions.

Kali Uchis released “TO FEEL ALIVE,” a four-song EP on Friday, April 24, via Interscope Records. This is Uchis’ first release since her debut album “Isolation,” which came out just over two years ago. She recorded all four songs in her house while self isolating during the coronavirus pandemic. In just over 10 minutes, Uchis walks the listener through an unpredictable romantic relationship, discussing themes such as arguing, drug use, selfishness, and finally, burned bridges.

The newest “Drop” from this rapper isn’t the new and improved album that many fans were looking for, but is filled with bops nevertheless. This past Friday, April 17, Johnathan Kirk, better known by his stage name DaBaby, released his second studio album titled Blame It On Baby with a quarantine inspired album artwork.

On the same day that Lil Uzi Vert’s greatly anticipated album, “Eternal Atake” was released, Uzi took to twitter to tease a deluxe version to the album. With only about seven hours passed since the initial albums release, Uzi tweeted at multiple collaborators- the likes of Young Thug, Future, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Lil Baby.

Childish Gambino mysteriously released an “album” early on Sunday, March 15, via DonaldGloverPresents.com. The project consisted of 12 tracks, including features from Ariana Grande and 21 Savage, with production from DJ Dahi, Ludwig Göransson, and others. One week later, on March 22, Gambino’s album “3.15.20” appeared on digital streaming platforms.

After watching the new Birds of Prey movie, and listening to its empowering soundtrack, I’ve been “Feeling Good,” all day. A film full of strong women and a soundtrack with even more, makes for tons of great vibes and emotion.
