Kings of Color Hosts Family Feud at EMU

 The popular game show “Family Feud” was brought to life Wednesday, March 6 in Eastern Michigan University’s Student Center Auditorium by the organization Kings of Color (KOC).

The Eastern Michigan University organization You Beautiful Black Woman (YBBW) and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. held a couple’s event “Adorn You” Feb. 11 in the Student Center where four couples competed to test their couples’ knowledge. 

Opening Night for Sweat Production Meets Expectations

Production times can cause a lot of people to “Sweat” from nervousness, especially on opening night. The opening production for “Sweat,” directed by Pirooz Aghssa, took place in Quirk-Sponberg Theatre Friday, Feb. 8.

Black History Month Opening Reception

The Riverside Arts Center held a black history month opening reception Friday, Feb. 1 with internationally exhibiting artists, regional professionals and Ypsilanti Community schools students acrylic painting. 

Eastern Michigan Students and Faculty Discuss Parking Problems

EMU and LAZ Parking signed a $55 million, 35-year agreement for privatize parking and minor construction of EMU’s roads, and thereby giving sole control of parking to LAZ Parking. Many changes have occurred that seem to be an inconvenience to many.
