Saturday, Oct. 15

  • At 8:58 p.m. an assault was reported to authorities at a location on Huron River Drive. This case was closed on Oct. 16.
  • At 12:41 a.m. a subject was cited for open intoxicants in public at Cross Street and Ballard Street. The current status of this case is open.
  • At 1:25 a.m. the Department of Public Safety received a call regarding a vehicle found with a broken window parked in the Hoyt Lot. The offense occurred between 12 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Oct. 15. The current status of this case is open.
  • At 5:08 a.m. DPS received a call regarding a subject smoking marijuana in the Pittman residence hall lavatory, then leaving the location. The offense was believed to have occurred at 4:38 a.m. The current status of this case is open.
  • At 10:01 p.m. a subject was found to be in possession of marijuana at Hill residence hall. The current status of this case is open.
  • At 11:46 p.m. DPS received a call regarding four subjects suspected of riding a golf cart at the Student Center. The current status of this case is open.

Monday, Oct. 17

  • At 1:54 p.m. a subject reported a stolen purse inside of the Bruce T. Halle Library. The offense occurred between 12:15 p.m. and 1 p.m. on Oct. 17. The current status of this case is open.
  • At 5:38 a.m. DPS received a call regarding a vehicle struck overnight while parked adjacent to the Wise residence hall meters. The accident was believed to have occurred on Oct. 16 at 10:30 p.m. The current status of this case is open.
  • At 10:17 p.m. DPS received a call regarding a domestic violence situation against a female subject by her boyfriend. The offense occurred at 10 p.m. The current status of this case is open.

Tuesday, Oct. 18

  • At 1:01 a.m. a driver was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) for operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more at the location of Ann Street and Huron River Drive. The current status of this case is open.
  • At 2:27 p.m. Campus Security Authorities were notified of an assault occurring at an off campus location on or near Oakwood Street. The offense occurred between 1:30 and 1:58 p.m. The current status of this case is open.
  • At 4:56 p.m. DPS received a call regarding marijuana use in a student's dorm room in Best residence hall. This case was closed on Oct. 18.
  • At 8:03 p.m. local authorities were alerted to a subject intoxicated and also under the influence of crack cocaine requesting help on Cross Street. This case was closed on Oct. 18.

Wednesday, Oct. 19

  • At 5:29 a.m. DPS received a call regarding damage to a vehicle windshield at the Sculpture Studio. The offense was believed to have occurred between 2 a.m. to 4:10 a.m. This case was closed on Thursday, Oct. 20.
  • At 3:42 p.m. a bike was reported stolen from the Wise residence hall meters. The offense was believed to have occurred between Sunday, Oct. 9 at 5 a.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. The current status of this case is open.
  • At 4:38 p.m. DPS received a call regarding subjects smoking marijuana inside the Eastern Michigan University parking structure. The current status of this case is open.
  • At 10:48 p.m. DPS received a call regarding an unknown subject burning a corner of a sheet of paper resulting in the alarms being set off inside of Hill residence hall. This case was closed on Oct. 20.
  • At 6:31 p.m. a subject was arrested for possession of marijuana and bench warrants at Pearl Street and Washington Street. The current status of this case is open.

Thursday, Oct. 20

  • At 2:12 p.m. a subject reported an unattended wallet stolen in the Warner Gymnasium. The current status of this case is open.
  • At 3:33 p.m. DPS received a call regarding larceny of cash and a debit card from a wallet inside of McKenny hall. The current status of this case is open.

Friday, Oct. 21

  • At 2:52 a.m. a welfare check was performed on an intoxicated subject inside Hoyt residence hall. This case was closed on Oct. 21.
  • At 2:02 p.m. a call was placed to local authorities regarding a subject embezzling funds from an establishment on or near Oakwood Street. The offense was believed to have occurred between Friday, July 1 and Friday, Oct. 21. The status of this case is open.
  • At 5:31 p.m. a subject was arrested with marijuana with intent to distribute at the Putnam residence hall meters. The current status of this case is open.
