It's Halloween time! Celebrate these spooky events through October

In honor of spooky season, attend these Halloween-themed events on and off campus throughout the month of October.

Creepy Cool Gallery Exhibition: Through Oct. 30

The gallery at Stone & Spoon will feature an exhibition with gore and ghoulish delight, suggested for people ages 16 and up.

Tea Party with the Mad Hatter: Oct.6

Join Campus Life for whimsical fun in Wonderland, enjoy free snacks and tea while watching Johnny Depp’s Alice in Wonderland from 8-10 p.m.

Run Scream Run: Oct. 8

Either participate in a Freaky 5K, Terrifying 10k, or Cider Mill Mile at Wiard's Orchard. Online registration closes on Oct. 6.

Swooptacular Spooktacular: Oct. 13

Come to the Student Center first floor to see fire artists, stilt walkers, reptile showings, and more from 7-9p.m.

Highland Cemetery Evening Lantern Tours: Oct. 14 - 30

Recurring weekly Friday-Sunday, tour the cemetery grounds and listen to stories of those who once lived in Ypsi. Tours last two hours long on hilly grounds with $10 admission.

Holy Bones Festival: Oct. 15

Join Ypsilanti artisans for the fourth annual festival and halloween market, featuring more than 60 local artists, live music and food trucks with a $10 entrance fee at the gates.

Pride Pumpkin Painting: Oct. 20

Join the Honors College with a relaxing night testing your LGBTQ+ history knowledge and painting pride themed pumpkins from 5-6 p.m.

Spooky Double Feature: Oct. 20

From 7-11 p.m. in the Student Center auditorium, two scary movies will be shown: one classic Halloween film and one recent spooky movie. Snacks will be provided.

Halloween Downtown: Oct. 28

Trick or Treat in Library Plaza with music, treats, and visit the haunted Boo(k) mobile from 5:30-6:45 p.m.

Symphony Orchestra Halloween Pops Concert: Oct. 28

Join the EMU Symphony Orchestra at their annual Halloween concert from 7-8 p.m. The music this year will be from Star Wars, The Wizard of Oz, Pirates of the Caribbean and other family friendly hits. Adults can attend for $8, students 6-17 years old are $5, and children five and under are free. LBC approved event.

Night Terrors at Wiard's Orchard: Oct.31

Visit Michigan haunted thrill park with five different haunted attractions: The Ultimate Haunted Barn, The MindShaft, The Asylum, Hay ride of the lost, and Alien Caged Clowns in 3D. Tickets available for purchase online only.

All Hallows Illumination: Nov.1 

Bring your carved pumpkin to light up Frog Island Amphitheater for the 4th annual Illumination of Frog Island.
