Planetarium Show - April 1

Experience an eclipse simulation and listen to tips on how to safely view live eclipses. The EMU Planetarium will be presenting “Totality – Explore the Wonder of Eclipses” in the Science Complex, room 402 from 7-8 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased on the EMU Planetarium webpage. A solar eclipse will cross the United States on April 8. From Ypsilanti, only a partial eclipse will be seen. The closest place to see the full eclipse is Bowling Green, Ohio. Student Government Meeting - April 2

Looking for a way to voice your ideas and opinions? The EMU Student Government is holding its next general body meeting in the Student Center, room 300 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Honors College Coffee Hour - April 3

Join Alyssa Shaw in the Honors College conference room from 4-5 p.m. to discuss authenticity, setting boundaries, and avoiding burnout over coffee. The sign-up form can be found on the EMU Today calendar webpage.

Trivia Night - April 3

Senior Art Exhibition - April 4

Ford Gallery presents “Breaking Boundaries,” an art exhibition featuring work created by EMU seniors. Visit Ford Hall between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to experience diverse and exploratory artwork.

Swing Dance Night - April 4

Learn to swing dance or show off your moves at Swing Dance Night from 6:30-10 p.m. at the Ypsilanti Freighthouse. Hosted by the Riverside Swings and Swing Ann Arbor, the night will feature music from the University Musical Society and special guest band The Aston Neighborhood Pleasure Club. Located at 100 Market Place on the north side of Depot Town, all levels of experience are welcome. Claim your tickets on the University Musical Society website

Y2Gay: Drag Show at the Freighthouse - April 6

Join local drag artists at the Ypsilanti Freighthouse located at 100 Market Place to view their Y2Gay: Drag Show. The show features a throwback performance inspired by the 1990s at 7:30 p.m., a second performance at 9:30 p.m. focusing on the 2000s, and special guest DJ Medusa. Must be 18 and older to attend. Admission is pay as you want. Details can be found on the University Musical Society website.
