Hazardous weather warning issued Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in Washtenaw County

On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 4:07 a.m., the National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook warning for 17 counties, including Washtenaw County. 

The hazardous weather warning starts June 25 and will be in effect until July 1. 

As of June 25, thunderstorms are the main concern as a warm front moves in. The weather service said the strongest storms could bring winds of up to 60 miles per hour.

Localized flooding is also a concern, especially in urbanized areas such as Ypsilanti. 

The National Weather Service warned of more thunderstorms and localized flooding June 26 through July 1.
