Better Living Health Fair — Tuesday and Saturday, Nov. 4 and 8, 2025
The Ypsilanti District Library, with the University of Michigan Pharmacy School, Yes Rx and Lookout Project, will host two free events about health education.
Everyone in the community is welcome to participate.
Event itinerary:
- Safe Medication Storage, Disposal and Donation
- Immunization Education
- Transgender Healthcare and Advocacy
- Health Screening
- Safe Sex for Older Adults
The wellness meeting will be available twice this week, first on Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 1-3 p.m., and again on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 2-5:30 p.m.
YDL-Whittaker is located at 5577 Whittaker Road in Ypsilanti.
No prior registration is needed.
Ech0labs Light Industries Presents: The Fallout Shelter – Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025
734 Brewing Company in Depot Town in Ypsilanti hosts The Fallout Shelter every Thursday.
Music creators who also enjoy showcasing their DJ talents, resident DJs Jamison "The Silent Ech0" Lundy and DJ None, are seeking local stars to perform at 734 Brewing Company.
The event is also great for those who want to spend the evening with some live music, company and a drink.
The night begins at 7:30 p.m. and ends at midnight.
Registration is not needed, and the participation cost is a suggested donation of $5.
Ech0labs Light Industries also presents The Fallout Shelter on Wednesdays at The Regal Beagle, located at 817 E. Michigan Ave.
True Crime Murder Mystery Show Dinner in Ypsilanti — Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025
People who love to combine food and comedy can spend a mysterious evening at North America’s largest interactive comedy true crime murder mystery dinner show.
At the dinner, guests might find themselves suspected of the crime until the reveal.
The menu includes a garden salad, entree choices, a dessert and beverages.
The event starts at 6:30 and ends at 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8. It takes place at the Ann Arbor Marriott at Eagle Crest Resort.
A single ticket price is $79.39 with fees and includes the crime mystery experience, dinner, a tip for waiters and a Prize Package for the leading detective.

Downtown Queer Crafting Group — Monday, Nov. 10, 2025
On Monday evening, Nov. 10, art lovers ages 18 and up are welcome to visit the Michigan Avenue branch of the YDL for a crafting meetup.
This program provides a space for LGBTQIA+ individuals to create a community while crafting.
Paper crafts, paints, fiber arts, drawing, writing, digital art and more are all welcome at the program.
Participants can bring their own art project to work on in the shared area, and participation is free.
The event will last two hours from 6-8 p.m.
This meeting is part of a series of meetings that take place in the Michigan Ave. Program Room at the YDL's Michigan Avenue location at 229 W. Michigan Ave.
