The Great Lakes Drawing Biennial 

Join IGG for the reception of The Great Lakes Drawing Biennial exhibition, highlighting current contemporary art. The gallery is open to visitors from Jan. 9, 2026 through to March 7, 2026.

Midwinter Melodies 

The Ypsilanti Symphony Orchestra celebrates its 27th anniversary with its 2025-2026 season. Spend the afternoon with live music by YSO.

Valentine’s Craft Day

Proof

Jada Hauser

Jada Hauser uses she/her pronouns, and has worked for The Eastern Echo since June 2025. She started as a layout designer, then moved to Arts and Entertainment Editor, Cellar Roots Editor-in-Chief in Winter 2026.

Hauser is a senior majoring in art with a graphic design concentration and a marketing minor. For her, the best part is working with a brilliant team.

Gray Connor

Gray Connor uses they/he pronouns, and has worked for The Eastern Echo since August 2024. They started as Newsletter Editor, then moved to Managing Editor of Operations for the 2026 Winter semester. Connor is a senior majoring in media studies and journalism, with a minor in public relations. 

For him, the best part of the job is getting to know other people, and collaborating with other students just as passionate about journalism and justice.
