Starkweather, King, Sherzer and McKenney Hall are currently without water after complications arose this morning while construction crews were waterproofing Starkweather Hall.

Project manager Travis Temeyer said the water leak probably resulted from a piece of pipe coming lose around Starkweather, but he is still working with plumbers to confirm the problem.

Central control valves that serve those four buildings were shut off this morning when the leak was noticed, and it will be restored when the problem is fixed.

Temeyer said he expects water to be turned on this afternoon, but he didn’t have a specific time.
