Found Family Feast

Held in Rackham 105 on Nov. 18, 2025, the Found Family Feast event included various Thanksgiving foods and featured a demo on how to make cranberry sauce from scratch. Alex Nitsche, a Bachelor's in Social Work intern, hosted the event and invited volunteers to assist him in the demo. Nitsche also guided the group in a collaborative drawing exercise in which participants started their own drawings and passed them to another person after a minute. Emily Bryson, a graduate assistant at Swoop's Pantry, concluded the event by leading a discussion on the importance of found family and what it can mean for those who may not have a great relationship with their family.
