Professional scare actors at Wiard's Orchards prepare for a night of terror

For the Halloween season, Wiard's Orchards, on Merritt Road in Ypsilanti, becomes a field of Night Terrors. After sunset on the weekends, the Ypsilanti apple orchard transforms into five haunted-house-style attractions, each with its own theme. One of the key features of that transformation is a professional crew of makeup artists and scare actors who combine their talents to create the visuals that will entertain and scare visitors. The final weekend of the 2025 season is Oct. 31 to Nov. 2.
