The Last Dinner Party takes the stage

The Last Dinner Party took the stage on March 31 at the Majestic Theatre in Detroit. The concert began with the opener Miss Grit at 8 p.m. Miss Grit performed multiple songs, with each having different graphics projected across her and the stage itself. She brought soft vocals with robotic audio to her set, and the set just included her and her guitar. The Last Dinner Party took the stage at 9 p.m. and performed songs from their album "Prelude to Ecstasy." The band is made up of Abigail Morris on vocals, Lizzie Mayland on vocals and guitar, Emily Roberts on lead guitar, mandolin, and flute, Georgia Davies on bass, and Aurora Nishevci on keyboard. The band brought forward an energetic set with each member interacting with each other, as well as the audience. The most active member was the lead vocalist Morris, who sold the show with her dancing and overdramatic movements that sold the set as a whole. The show was sold out, with barley enough room for dancing amongst the crowd, but that didn't stop the energy from flowing throughout.
