Thankful To Go is a donation drive-thru that allows families to pick up food items for their Thanksgiving Meals. Hosted by Eastern Michigan University and Chartwells Higher Education, volunteers helped give out food to over 1,000 families. This was made possible through sponsors such as the Ann Arbor Community Foundation, James Smith and Connie Ruhl-Smith, DTE, Eastern Michigan University Credit Union and Marriott Ann Arbor Ypsilanti Eagle Crest. EMU Theatre's production of Big Love written by Charles L. Mee ran in the Judy Sturgis Hill Legacy Theatre from Nov. 20 to Nov. 23, 2025. This production was directed by Jennifer Felts with the help of a full cast and crew of students and professors that brought it to life. This dark comedy tackled themes of feminism, gender roles and independence as 50 brides seek refuge from their grooms with a family at a coastal Italian villa. (Gallery by Max Taylor)
Held in Rackham 105 on Nov. 18, 2025, the Found Family Feast event included various Thanksgiving foods and featured a demo on how to make cranberry sauce from scratch. Alex Nitsche, a Bachelor's in Social Work intern, hosted the event and invited volunteers to assist him in the demo. Nitsche also guided the group in a collaborative drawing exercise in which participants started their own drawings and passed them to another person after a minute. Emily Bryson, a graduate assistant at Swoop's Pantry, concluded the event by leading a discussion on the importance of found family and what it can mean for those who may not have a great relationship with their family. Eastern Outfitters, set to replace the former Eastern Michigan University Bookstore, opened Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, in the EMU Student Center. The store features EMU merchandise, including clothing items, mugs and water bottles, as well as non-EMU branded school supplies and an eCampus textbook pickup and drop-off location. A ramen bar was held by the South East Asian Student Alliance serving as a fundraiser for survivors of Typhoon Tino in the Philippines. The event included a bar with ramen and many toppings to choose from, a movie, and a fundraising table where people could buy goods in support for the cause. The Registration Blitz was a university-wide collaborative event aimed at getting students prepared for the next semester. It served as an opportunity for students to talk to different departments and learn about different programs. There was also a section where students and advisors could work together to create a schedule for the upcoming semester. The event was held in the Rec/IM on Thursday, November 13, 2025. AMP! and Pokito Productions came together on Tuesday, Nov. 4 2025 to host WonderFest, an event celebrating student artists and projects in the Student Center ballroom. An artist alley featured multiple artists selling original creations, and others showed off multimedia projects. The event also featured a presentation from Pokito Productions about WONDERCORD, led by director Rylee Curley, and joined by voice actors from the team. (Gallery by Max Taylor)

The Eastern Echo held a trick or treat event in time for Halloween inside the Echo offices in King Hall on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025. The event encouraged any and all students to show up in costumes, relax in the lounge, and pick up some sweet treats while getting a chance to meet the people behind The Eastern Echo's production. For the Halloween season, Wiard's Orchards, on Merritt Road in Ypsilanti, becomes a field of Night Terrors. After sunset on the weekends, the Ypsilanti apple orchard transforms into five haunted-house-style attractions, each with its own theme. One of the key features of that transformation is a professional crew of makeup artists and scare actors who combine their talents to create the visuals that will entertain and scare visitors. The final weekend of the 2025 season is Oct. 31 to Nov. 2.
Hosted by Campus Life, Pumpkins on the Patio returned to the EMU Student Center on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Outside, students were able to pick pumpkins to carve and enter into a contest, while inside, multiple tables of student vendors promoted their organizations and provided more spooky goods and services! The Mental Health and Wellness Fair was held on the first floor of the EMU Student Center on Oct. 22, 2025, with multiple different tables covering different areas of mental health and disability. The Cultural Expo was hosted by the International Student Association, the South East Asian Student Alliance, and Campus Life. The cultures included were American, Bangladeshi, Black American, Filipino, German, Japanese, Indian, Iraqi, Korean, North African, Pakistani, Palestinian, Syrian, and Thai. The Grand Opening of the new Little Caesars franchise in the Eastern Michigan University Student Center was held Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025. The Little Caesars moved from its old location in the former Crossroads market to the previous location of BUILD. The restaurant serves by the slice and whole pizzas in the form of a Detroit-style four-corner or a thin crust, among a variety of other items. (Gallery by Kaleb Stanley)
