The Eagles were looking to improve after finishing in last place at the Kepler Intercollegiate tournament last weekend before they head to the MAC Championship in Carmel, Ind. The Eagles shot 881 as a team on the par 71, 7,202-yard Penn State University Blue Course, April 19-20.

Brett White, known as Whitey to his teammates at Eastern Michigan University, participated in the PGA Tour’s Michigan Open Tournament last week. He played very well the first three days scoring 75, 69 and 72 respectively. He ended the tournament in a tie for 37th place.
On June 6, former Eastern Michigan University golfer Casey Olsen traveled to Springfield Ohio to compete in the US Open Sectionals. Olsen scored a 72 in each round of the two-day tournament. Unfortunately, he was unable to advance to the Open with those scores.
