EMU Theater will be presenting 'Monsters and Peas' at the end of the month.
Orlando Bailey stars as the title character in Meriah Sage’s stage adaptation of Christopher Paul Curtis’ book “Bud, Not Buddy.” The show does tackle serious topics, such as racism and abuse, while entertaining audiences.
The play centers on a Jewish lawyer and her client, a professor and holocaust denier. It’s last showing is at 8 p.m. tonight at Quirk.
“The Prince, the Wolf and the Firebird” opened at Quirk on Friday and featured a colorful set design, amusing sword fights and interesting costumes, which were inspired by storybook illustrations.
“The Prince, the Wolf and the Firebird” opens tomorrow at 7 p.m. and is directed by former EMU student Pam Cardell. It is a children’s fantasy story about a prince on a quest to catch a thief.
