On Sunday, Oct. 13, after dinner service, employees of the Bobcat Bonnie’s in Ypsilanti received notice by email from management that all operations would be closed until further notice. Knowing that the lease for their building would expire in two weeks, employees were not hopeful for a reopening date.

"Outer Banks" is back on Netflix with part one of its fourth season. This season was full of drama and treasure hunting. Fans were excited after waiting a year on a cliffhanger. The pogues have found a way to live after receiving over a million dollars from the gold they found. "The Menendez Brothers Documentary" was released to Netflix on Oct. 7. The documentary, directed by Alejandro Hartmann, was full of heartbreaking truths about the story of how the Menendez brothers, Erik and Lyle, murdered their parents. It was one of the most significant trials broadcasted.

This Saturday, Oct. 19, the Eastern Michigan University Eagles will face off against their longtime rival, the Central Michigan University (CMU) Chippewas, in a highly anticipated Homecoming clash at Rynearson Stadium. The 96th Homecoming game in EMU history will kick off at 2 p.m., streamed live on ESPN+ and broadcast locally on WEMU (89.1 FM).
